The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Tuesday, September 15, reveal that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will suddenly get struck with inspiration.
It’ll lead to Carter running out on a conversation with Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) so he can prevent Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) from exposing everything to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
At Forrester Creations, Carter will dread telling Daphne about Steffy’s pregnancy.
Steffy confirmed the baby has to be Carter’s since she hasn’t connected with Finn in the bedroom recently, so now he feels like the truth’s going to come out.
However, Daphne will go on and on about her desire to start a family with Carter.
After Daphne talks about the surrogacy plan and how she wishes a stranger didn’t have to carry a baby for them, that may be what sparks a shocking idea for Carter.
Whatever the case, Carter will indeed realize there might be a way to cover up this cheating scandal if they pass this baby off as a traditional surrogacy.
Once Carter has this realization, he’ll rush out of the showroom in a hurry and leave Daphne wondering what’s going on.
Carter will claim something just came up, but he’ll actually be on a mission to derail Steffy’s confession to Finn.
Since Steffy vowed to tell Finn the truth today, Carter will know he’d better get over to the cliff house fast or he’s going to miss his window of opportunity.
Next on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Steffy will continue blubbering to Finn about how much she loves him and how there’s something he needs to know.
Since Steffy is a weepy mess, Finn will grow quite concerned about her emotional state.
Of course, it probably won’t be long until Carter pounds on the door and insists this is an emergency.
Carter might act like there’s some disaster at work that needs Steffy’s attention right away.
Finn should be reluctant to leave Steffy when she’s so upset, but he might get called back to the hospital for an emergency of his own.
That could lead to Carter and Steffy being left alone for his stunning proposition.
Carter is about to make a pitch about using the surrogacy situation to hide their one-night stand that resulted in this conception.
Steffy is sure to be floored once Carter reveals his wild plan, but he’ll insist it could work.
