On tonight’s The Rookie episode, Officer Aaron Thorsen was robbed on tonight’s episode. His car, his watch, and his wallet were all stolen. The thieves were professionals.

They were so good that they recognized he was hiding a watch in spite of it not being on display. It didn’t even matter that he called 911 the moment he sensed something was off. The thieves got away with his goods before his friends arrived. They all chipped in to help him. He stopped by the station and he found out the biggest secret right now was that Tim was about to propose to Lucy.

They were all helping him with the ring. Harper didn’t want him to choose a princess cut. Celina thought she could get Lucy to admit what her dream ring was like. Angela just loved watching Tim freak out. Aaron was the most helpful because he has a jewelry guy. He offered to hook Tim up with him.

The best thing about the jewelry guy was that he comes to you. Tim doesn’t have to worry about being seen at a jewelry store or running the risk of buying online. He was free to keep working at actual work as well as on his proposal.

Lucy didn’t guess a thing. Celina tried to play on that. Celina accidentally sent a voice message to her boyfriend that she thought he was about to propose and the truth was that it was all a lie. Celina came up with it a means of finding the perfect ring for Lucy. It wasn’t for herself. Its just that Rodge didn’t know that when he got the message.

He was left worried that Celina was expecting a proposal. He called Nolan in a panic. He asked for advice and Nolan told him to just come clean with Celina. Talking is what grown-ups do!

Nolan then hung up because he was pretty busy. He was tracking down a known serial killer’s ex-wife. Miranda took off with her kids because she was worried about losing custody to Liam Glasser. He was brutal. He relished in punishing people. He was a sociopath and Miranda only realized it after she had two kids with the man.

They were in court fighting for custody. She thought to flee with the kids, but Nolan and Harper stopped her. They told her she wouldn’t make it two days. They also added that Glasser would automatically get custody that way.

If she stays to fight, it at least gives her a chance at protecting her children from him. Nolan personally escorted Miranda to the courthouse. Glasser and his sleazy lawyer had already guessed at her original plan and they would’ve jumped on it if she hadn’t showed up. Nolan being there that day also paid off.

He was supposed to be out on medical leave so the judge asked him to make a statement about Glasser. Nolan was attacked by Glasser in the basement. Glasser was trying to kill him. Glasser could tell they were cops by the uniforms plus the way they’ve been following him for days. And still tried to kill him before he was arrested.

Nolan was also the guy that protected Glasser. He went as far as to take a bullet meant for Glasser. He wasn’t biased. He was just unshakably honest and the judge needed to hear everything before he made his ruling. The judge granted Miranda full legal and physical custody of their two kids.

The restraining order was back in place. Glasser was allowed nowhere near his former family. Glasser then told Nolan on his out that other serial killers take a break when they watch small children. Glassed then said “Guess, whatever happens next will be on Nolan”.

It was a threat to continue his heinous ways. Nolan expected payback in one way or another. Only his lawyer was busy with a new client. Malcolm Walsh was now representing Monica. Monica believes the FBI is onto her. She used them to remove a rival and place herself as Aidan Warner’s side.

Aidan wanted her to get rid of one of his rivals now. Both men were willing to kill her. One for bringing him down. The other would kill her once she served out her usefulness. Monica managed to juggle everyone to the point that she escaped the FBI, she trapped Aidan’s competitor, and she got Aidan to help her get out of town.

Monica was on the road long before the police were checking Malcom’s office for her. Aaron’s situation also got better and worse. The worse because Celina accidentally sent a voice message that he was late-term capitalism. It hurt Aaron’s feelings. The upside was that they found the men who robbed him.

They were his jeweler’s friend armed guards. That’s how they knew about his watch. The ring was busted up. Aaron got his watch back. And he was a little cold with Celina because of what he heard earlier.

Aaron bought Celina a new phone and that made peace between them.

Monica was later found murdered when she couldn’t juggle too many crime lords.

And Tim finally got the perfect ring to propose to Lucy with.

THE END!
