The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 11, reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will move forward with a trap for Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) and hope it leads to her capture.
Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will also behave rather strangely and leave Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wondering what’s up with him.
Phyllis will be ready to go when it comes to a plot to dupe Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) into thinking Phyllis’ life is in danger and have Matt save the day, which is the new plan.
However, Y&R spoilers suggest that plot may have to be delayed in the end.
Phyllis may march over to the Riverbank Motel after her lunch with Sharon and wonder why Matt didn’t show up.
It could leave Matt scrambling to explain, but he may not admit the part about Patty coming to see him after her escape!
Patty thinks Matt should trust her over Phyllis and join forces with her instead.
Since Patty and Matt both have unfinished business in Genoa City as far as she’s concerned, she may hold out hope that he’ll accept her offer.
Matt can’t seem to make up his mind when it comes to his loyalty and whether redemption is truly possible for a guy like him.
Since Matt keeps changing his perspective, he may keep secrets from Phyllis about Patty and find himself tempted to team up with her.
It’s also possible Matt will decide that helping the cops capture Patty could give his image in town a boost.
Whatever the case, Phyllis will get some odd mixed messages from Matt as she tries to figure out what’s going on.
Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll launch a vengeful scheme that’ll affect the Abbott clan.
Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) may be right about Victor using Vibrante to go after Jabot as part of one final battle.
Following the news that Patty escaped, Jack will put a trap in place.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be tasked with helping somehow, so there might be some sort of staged fight that draws a lot of attention.
Jack will eventually sit down next to Diane at Society and clutch his chest.
Perhaps Jack will act like a Billy showdown has caused a heart attack or some other major medical episode.
Jack might try to lure Patty back to the hospital and hope she can get busted there.
Regardless of how it all goes down, the Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will hope Patty takes the bait so that his family can be protected.
