The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, September 14, indicate that Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) will join forces with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) on a plan to lock Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) up again.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also become part of an effort to dupe Patty, so let’s discuss all the sneakiness happening on Monday’s Y&R episode.
At Society, Jack will put on a performance that Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will later deem Oscar worthy!
Someone will film the chaos as paramedics arrive for Jack while his family seemingly freaks out.
However, those paramedics will actually be part of Jack’s deception.
The same goes for Detective Burrow since he’ll approve Jack’s idea to catch Patty sneaking in the hospital to see him.
Diane will worry about something going wrong once Jack’s in a gown and stuck in a hospital bed again.
However, Jack will feel confident that Patty’s going to take the bait and that the officers standing by will grab her.
After Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) admits Patty visited him, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will flip out and want to call the cops.
Phyllis will stop herself when she realizes they could plot Patty’s capture, so she’ll convince Matt they could both be heroes here.
In an alley, Patty will talk to her Mr. Kitty stuffed animal about trying to reignite things with Jack.
Patty will acknowledge that she may have to drug and imprison Jack before he falls in love with her again, but she won’t seem to mind.
Patty will think she just has to get that “witchy wife” of Jack’s out of the way, so she’ll plot against Diane as well as his negative family members.
At the coffeehouse, Adam will agree to Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) request.
Sally will get Adam to publish a Newman Media story that involves Jack’s heart attack and hospitalization to dupe Patty.
Patty will indeed see the news online along with a video of Jack collapsing, so she’ll be aghast.
It’ll leave Patty fearing for Jack’s life as she rants about Diane belonging six feet under instead.
Before Patty can make it to the hospital, Matt will call her to claim he’s changed his mind about joining forces and wants to see her back at his motel.
At the Newman ranch, Adam will speak with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about Jack’s scheme and warn his dad not to use Patty’s fixation to his advantage.
Victor won’t make any promises and will want to be kept in the loop on Patty’s moves.
