The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) may be playing with fire by messing with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
Y&R fans know Matt convinced Patty to leave town with him, but what happens when he changes his mind?
Based on spoilers for the week of September 21-25, it doesn’t look like Matt’s leaving Genoa City with Patty after all.
Instead, Matt’s going to surprise Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and confuse her with his second thoughts.
It appears Matt will backtrack on his decision to exit GC once again, so he may promise Phyllis that he’s done trying to leave her.
However, Matt’s biggest mistake may have been making promises to Patty that’ll go unfulfilled.
Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) remains on edge over Patty being on the loose since she could strike at any moment.
Despite Patty’s goodbye letter, Diane is concerned that she might show up and target the Abbotts at Billy’s upcoming nuptials.
Of course, without Matt to keep Patty busy elsewhere, that’s exactly what Patty might do! Patty may revert to her desire to see Jack again and hope she can steal him away for a new life with her instead.
On the other hand, Patty might go into full-blown revenge mode and decide she wants every last Abbott to pay.
Perhaps Patty will get fed up enough with everything to just go wild and bring some danger to this wedding event.
Regardless, if Patty crashes Billy and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) big day, it may unleash some dangerous chaos.
Matt may feel responsible and leap into action if he realizes Patty poses a serious threat.
That could lead to Matt getting the heroic moment he’s been hoping for.
Matt wants a chance to prove he’s changed and may get it if he puts his life on the line against Patty.
Although Matt might save multiple people in the process, he could be seriously injured or even killed if Patty inflicts her wrath on him.
