The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will be wrestling with some dangerous thoughts as the week of October 12-16 gets underway.
Matt’s brain will be pulling him in multiple directions, so Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) safety will be a concern.
As Matt thinks back to previous discussions with Sharon, he’ll remember that she once told him about getting forgiveness for her own horrible mistakes.
Matt will think maybe Sharon is the one person who could help him since she understands getting another chance.
However, Matt will suddenly slip back into vengeful mode and decide Sharon doesn’t deserve to be put on a pedestal.
It’ll be clear that Matt’s ditching his redemption mission as he heads for Sharon’s cottage.
Once Matt sneaks in Sharon’s house, he may waver again and cling to whatever good is left in him.
Sharon will reel over Matt’s arrival, especially since his unsettling phone call of silence will come before it.
Sharon may see that Matt’s in a bad frame of mind following his car crash and hope she can keep him from spiraling even further.
Y&R spoilers say Sharon will struggle with a crucial choice on the October 14 episode.
Sharon may consider whether she could call the cops and try to get Matt locked up for helping fugitive Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
It looks like Sharon will ultimately send out an SOS to Nick, so he’ll come running over to make sure she’s OK.
Nick will certainly want to keep watch over Sharon since she’ll end up letting Matt stay with her for a while.
Matt will sleep on Sharon’s new sofa and may continue to face conflicting thoughts.
At this point, it’s still a matter of whether Matt’s sinister impulses are going to win out and cause him to do unspeakable things again.
It’s possible Sharon and Nick will call Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) over too sooner or later.
Nick and Sharon might be torn about tangling Phyllis back up with Matt when she’s finally free, but she certainly has a particular way of connecting with him.
On the other hand, Nick and Sharon might try to deal with the latest Matt news on their own.
Either way, Matt’s a crafty character who could fully snap at any moment, so Sharon and Nick will have to stay on guard as they figure out what’s next.
