The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, July 30, reveal that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will take a step toward being a free man thanks to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who’ll get what she wants from the new guy in her life.
Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) will also be drowning in drama and will find someone to lean on.
First on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will want to set some limits with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) following their passionate encounter.
Now that Cane and Lily’s romantic reunion is heating up, she may think they need to get a few things straight about their professional and personal relationship.
Lily may want to ensure that what happens between the sheets won’t affect what happens in the office.
Cane may promise they can keep those areas of their lives separate and succeed in business as well as in their budding reunion.
Of course, Lily may also warn Cane that they need to pace themselves and make sure they lay the right groundwork for their renewed future.
Cane definitely wants to love Lily forever, so he’ll be on board with whatever boundaries she thinks will help them in the long run.
Over with Phyllis, she’ll help take off the ankle monitor that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been forcing Matt to wear.
Phyllis will think Matt now has his freedom and will be curious what he’s going to do with it.
Matt may acknowledge that it’s a mistake to stick around and face Victor’s fury, but he’ll want to stay in town anyway since he feels a special bond with Phyllis.
Now Phyllis and Matt will have a chance to pursue their spark, so they’ll share a toast as they think about their new chapter together.
Meanwhile, Abby will be down in the dumps as Devon Winters (Bryton James) continues to push her away.
Although Abby wants Devon to open up and accept help to work through his problems, he’ll keep shutting her out instead.
Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will come along and find Abby sulking alone, so he’ll offer compassion.
It won’t be long until Abby spills some tough marriage news to Daniel, who’ll make her feel better with some support.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel and Abby will share some close moments, so stay tuned to see if the potential for some hot temptation might develop.
