The Young and the Restless (Y&R) update for Tuesday, July 14, indicates that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will make a risky move while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) get blamed for something they didn’t do.
Y&R fans know Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) recently had a disagreement about how to handle the Spectra-Charles situation.
Adam wants to leave Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) alone, but Victor wants Newman Media returned to its rightful owner.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) gave Newman Media to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who passed it along to Sally and encouraged her to fold it into the new company she was building.
Sally indeed made Newman Media part of Spectra-Charles, so now the whole thing will be in jeopardy.
On Tuesday’s episode, Sally will toss some shocking allegations at Chelsea and Adam.
It turns out Adam and Chelsea will be under fire for attacking Spectra-Charles, but they obviously won’t be responsible.
If Spectra-Charles does face an attack or Sally finds out one is imminent, she’ll assume Chelsea and Adam are coming for Newman Media.
It’ll actually be Victor, but Adam will try to get his dad on board with an alternative solution in the coming episodes.
In the meantime, it looks like Victor will have a tense encounter with Kyle regarding Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and the Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) mayhem that just went down.
Kyle wants Victor to face a comeuppance for bringing Patty back into all their lives, but he’s playing a dangerous game.
It seems Kyle may drop a hint about his revenge plot, but Victor won’t be scared of Kyle or whatever he might cook up.
Instead, Victor may warn that Kyle would be wise to stay in his lane and avoid provoking his wrath.
If Kyle dares to push him too far, Victor won’t hesitate to strike back.
Over with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’s already dealing with the stress of getting around the ranch without her eyesight.
Nikki should have another reason to stress out when she finds out Patty attacked both Jack and Diane.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will insist on visiting Jack at the hospital soon, but he’s thankfully on the mend and will offer good news during the week of July 13-17.
