The Young and the Restless Tuesday, September 15 Recap: Matt’s Patty Trap Flops

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Tuesday, September 15, reveals that Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) attempt to lure Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) to his motel room won’t go according to plan.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will also make a big admission to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), so there’ll be a lot happening on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.

At the athletic club, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will have a flirty dinner with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that’ll also include some talk about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow) and all the Chancellor drama.

After Cane and Lily shift gears to discuss their future, he’ll admit he’d like to move in together.

Once Cane reiterates his love for Lily, he’ll acknowledge that he wants to begin and end each day with her.

At Crimson Lights, Kyle will give Victoria the news about hospitalized Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) Patty trap.

Victoria and Kyle will bond over their families having similar problems before he admits he can’t stop thinking about her.

Kyle will get that it’s weird and a little obsessive, but he just won’t be able to get Victoria out of his head.

Victoria will basically feel the same way, so Kyle will wonder what they should do about that.

In the alley, Patty will seem wary of Matt’s change of heart, but she’ll eventually agree to come back to his motel room.

However, after mulling it over with Mr. Kitty, Patty will question whether she even needs Matt anymore and will consider whether he’s expendable.

Patty also won’t want to let Jack die without her, so she’ll decide he has to come first.

After texting Matt to say something came up and that she’ll reach out soon, she’ll focus on her next plot.

In Matt’s motel room, he’ll urge Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to leave since he can handle Patty on his own.

Phyllis will worry Patty will manipulate Matt and will insist on sticking around.

Although Phyllis will want to capture Patty now, Matt will argue that they need to do it with lots of witnesses around and no chance of Patty’s escape.

Patty’s delay will leave Phyllis nervous about what she’s planning, but Matt will eventually get Patty’s text and admit she’s not coming.

Phyllis will remain on edge over Patty being dangerous and will think they have to find her before she finds them.

At Jabot, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will panic over Jack’s heart attack and hospitalization, but Billy will fill her in on Jack’s Patty scheme.

Nikki will be uneasy about the whole thing, but Billy will offer some reassurance.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will also become part of Billy and Nikki’s discussion, so Nikki will congratulate them on the wedding and ask how the pregnancy’s going.

The conversation will shift to Vibrante, so Billy won’t have a problem with Nikki running it as long as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) stays out of things.

Once Nikki makes it home to Victor and speaks to him about Jack’s trap for Patty, she’ll push him to stay out of that as well.

Victor will agree to at least try, so that’ll satisfy Nikki for the time being.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say the Newmans and Abbotts have more feuding ahead of them, so stay tuned.
