The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Wednesday, February 11, reveals that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will cry in Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) arms while Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark) reunites with Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway).
In the car, Dominic will get sick of Mariah calling him “Bowie” and will want to be done with hide and seek.
Although Dom will demand to see his parents, Mariah will insist they don’t want to see him right now and that they want him to finish the game.
Dominic will lash out at Mariah for being mean and will grow confused when she suggests Mexico is going to be their new home instead of just a hideout.
Mariah will keep waiting for Ian Ward (Ray Wise) to appear, but she’ll ultimately try to tell herself that she just has to follow the path.
On Devon’s private jet, Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) will get updates on the authorities getting a better description of the car based on the gas station security footage.
There wasn’t a totally clear view of the plates, but it’ll be enough to go on.
Mariah’s car will eventually be spotted again near the diner they left in New Mexico.
Devon and Abby will insist on flying to the nearest airport so they can get ahead of Mariah and Dominic.
Detective Burrow will coordinate with the local cops so that some unmarked police cars can follow while Sharon takes the lead on approaching Mariah’s vehicle.
Sharon will be a bit nervous, but she’ll be the best person for the job as both a therapist and Mariah’s mom.
Since Mariah will stop the car and try to placate Dominic, that’ll give Sharon a chance to get inside.
Mariah will be stunned over Sharon coming, but she’ll offer reassurance and let Dom know she brought some people who are very excited to see him.
Dominic will run to a nearby clearing, where he’ll share some hugs with Devon and Abby before they take him on the plane.
Dom will explain how he thought it was a game and worry that he hurt Mariah’s feelings when he got upset with her.
Abby and Devon will assure Dominic that he didn’t do anything wrong.
There’ll also be some talk about Mariah being sick and going to the doctor to get some help.
Dominic will mention his dream about Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and wonder if “Papa” is watching over him from heaven, so Devon and Abby will confirm they believe that.
Next on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Detective Burrow will drive Mariah to the local police station and explain that he’s going to arrange her transfer back to Genoa City, where she’ll face kidnapping charges.
Detective Burrow will promise that Mariah will be treated with respect just like he promised since he’s a man of his word.
Sharon will comfort Mariah in the backseat and suggest that moms are supposed to find their lost daughters.
After Sharon makes it clear that she loves Mariah and that nothing she could do would ever change that, Mariah will cry in her arms.
At Crimson Lights, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will take a phone call from Devon, so she’ll be relieved to know Mariah and Dominic were found safe.
Tessa will accept Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) comforting embrace after relaying the news to him, too.
Although Tessa will still care about Mariah, she’ll feel like she has to let her go.
