The Young and the Restless Week of July 27 Update: Nikki's Vision Returns, Sharon Spills Bad News

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) update for the week of July 27-31 indicates that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have some difficult information to share while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) realizes she needs to put some boundaries in place with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

The week will kick off with Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) blunder since she’ll hold back too long with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Sally should’ve spilled to Billy right away, but it’ll be Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) who tells her ex about Sally working out a deal with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) for Newman Media.

After Billy blows up, Sally will have to decide whether she can trust him with the rest of the story.

Adam paid Sally for the company behind Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) back, but Sally and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) are supposed to keep that news quiet.

Even so, Victor and Victoria will work to figure out why Audra and Sally were really willing to surrender.

Of course, Victor will ultimately put his attention back on Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who’ll sink to the pit of despair over her blindness.

That’ll pave the way for Nikki’s sight to suddenly start coming back, so joy will follow her depression.

Victor and Nikki will eventually have a discussion about their marriage, so they’ll be on the same page about a new chapter of positivity and love.

Back with Billy, he’ll get in Adam’s face over the Sally deal and will interrogate him about the details.

Lily will also delight Cane when she invites him to the penthouse for a quiet evening together.

Cane and Lily may strip down for a passionate encounter, but there’ll still be complications to sort out.

Since Cane is running Chancellor for Lily, she won’t want their romance bleeding into their work life and making a mess of things.

Likewise, Lily won’t want work to put a strain on their reunion, so she’ll force some rules that Cane will get on board with.

Over with Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway), she’ll end up leaning on Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) for support as she deals with issues in her marriage to Devon Winters (Bryton James).

After Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) assists Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) in getting his ankle monitor off, they’ll throw back some booze to celebrate him being free.

Matt will clink glasses with Phyllis as they settle on pursuing a future as a romantic duo.

Matt will also speak with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) and hope for a chance to truly apologize for the past without Noah interrupting.

We know Noah will at least be distracted long enough to get some tough info about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who isn’t doing well and has decided he needs to go to rehab.

Sharon will bring Noah up to speed on that, so they’ll both hope that Nick can get the help he needs.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick’s time in rehab could come with some surprises, so stick with the CBS soap.
