The Young and the Restless Week of July 6 Update: Kyle Goes Rogue, Ashley’s Back in GC, Jill’s Next Move

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 6-10 indicate that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will decide to handle things himself while Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) returns to Genoa City.

Jill Abbott (Lauren Koslow) will also pressure Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but she’s about to lose her grip on a tricky situation.

Although Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will initially reject Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) date request, she’ll change her mind later and agree to have dinner with him.

Over with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), she’ll prove she’s as insane as ever when she points the finger at Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) for stabbing Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Patty will even give her own arms a couple gashes to make it look like she’s Diane’s victim as well.

Diane will assure Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) that Patty’s the dangerous one here, but Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) may claim Patty’s right about Diane when he pops back up.

At the hospital, Jack’s desperate fight for survival will get underway.

Although Jack will live through whatever surgery presumably awaits him, Patty will know she has to keep him quiet or else her Diane frame-up will crumble.

Patty will somehow manage to coerce Jack into hiding the real story, but Kyle will refuse to let Patty run the show.

That’s why Kyle is about to go rogue to clear Diane’s name and free her as well as Jack from this awful Patty nightmare.

Diane may rely on some legal help from Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) in the meantime since he’ll try to get Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) to see things from his point of view.

After Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is discharged from the hospital, she’ll move back in the ranch.

Nikki will have a difficult time adapting to her condition, so it sounds like she still won’t be able to see once her bandages are removed.

However, Nikki’s doctor warned that it could be weeks before her vision returned, so Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may push Nikki to stay optimistic – even if they’re truly concerned deep down.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will eventually announce some news that catches everyone by surprise.

Could that involve Victor’s desire to reunite with Nikki and maybe even renew their vows to recommit to their love story?

Victor will want to support Nikki during her time of need and may make some bold moves to prove it.

That doesn’t mean Nikki will get on board right away, but Victor could at least start making an effort to mend their broken relationship.

When Ashley comes home to see Jack following his attack, she’ll no doubt demand answers about what really happened.

Ashley may end up cornering Patty and pushing her to admit she’s responsible.

As for Billy, Y&R spoilers say he’ll grill Jill about her ulterior motives. Billy may think there’s more going on here than Jill’s push for peace.

Jill will work hard to fix her bond with Billy, but she’s hiding something that’s going to blow up in the coming episodes and reignite her son’s Chancellor obsession.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say fans may see the calm before the storm for now, so stay tuned!
