In tonight’s Watson episode, Ingrid was getting away with murder. She killed Beck. She claimed it was in self-defense when it wasn’t. She found out he had murdered people and that he was gearing up to murder Sasha. She killed him before he could kill her friend. She just couldn’t claim that to the cops.

It’s hard enough to prove self-defense nowadays that anything outside of the purview could lead to a first degree murder charge. They’ll say she went over there to deliberately gather evidence out of revenge. Not concern. Ingrid knew the system and she knew that men like Beck would’ve gotten off without much evidence. And so she didn’t leave things to chance – she killed him.

Ingrid was interrogated three times over ten hours by cops. They were looking for a hole in her story. She made sure not to give them one. Sasha was more worried about her situation than Ingrid was. She refused to discuss what happened and she kept claiming self-defense.

It might even work out for her. It still hasn’t cured her beside manner though. Ingrid was called in because Adam and Lauren’s OBGYN suffered a neurological event while she was performing Laurenn’s C-section. The triplets were supposed to be delivered that day.

Dr. Malena had already cut into Lauren when she experienced the neurological event. Neither Mary nor Watson were around. Mary had finally convinced Watson to get his own neurosurgeon so that he could have the tumor removed. She was taking him to see Dr. Isaac Niles out of state.

He knew that Watson would keep putting it off if she didn’t personally deliver him there. They were on the road when Watson suddenly realized that Malena had a condition that would affect surgery. Sometimes his brain waves don’t happen on time.

They stopped at a diner. They borrowed the diner’s landline because their cell phones were out of signal. They got in touch with the team. It’s a good thing too because they have two patients. There was Dr. Malena the OBGYN. There was also Lauren. Lauren still needed a surgeon to deliver her babies.

The other OBGYN was taking too long so Mary talked the intern into starting some of the surgery. They couldn’t wait longer because the baby’s heartbeats were dropping the longer it takes. And Dr. Malena was heavily disappointed to have missed a triplet’s birth.

Those happen once every seven years in her field. Ingrid likened it to get sick right before doing the routine for a gold medal. Sasha explained to the doctor that Ingrid has the bedside manner of a neurologist. It wasn’t her fault. They worked together to treat Malena.

They had several scans done. They believe they can save her life. What they couldn’t figure out was what went wrong with the surgery. Dr. Fiori showed up in time. He delivered all three babies. They’ve been named Olivia, Isabella, and Hamish.

Guess Adam went with the family name after all. Dr. John Hamish Watson has been more of a father to him than his actual father was. The problem laid with Lauren. Lauren kept losing a lot of blood. Dr. Fiori did his best to save her in surgery. It just didn’t stop the bleeding.

Adam called Watson in a panic. Watson and Mary heard about Lauren’s condition. They finally figured out that that she suffered a placenta abrasion before surgery. It wasn’t spotted in time and it used up all of her clotting that her body naturally does.

They have her medicine. Her blood remembered what it was supposed to do. She later woke up and Adam told her that everyone was fine.

The babies were all delivered safely. They got to live out their dream of everything being alright. Adam had been worried before about being like his biological father, but Lauren reassured him that she knew that would never happen.

Adam feels everything whether its good or bad. He doesn’t close him off like his dad did. He and Lauren spent bonding time with the babies then they allowed everyone else to meet them.

Sasha also thanked Ingrid in her own way for protecting her. Ingrid still had to face a few more questions from Detective Lestrade.

Only she doesn’t regret what she did. She fought to preserve Sasha’s smile and she would never regret that in any way. It’s a bit like what Shinwell did with his new girlfriend.

She got pricked by a drug addict’s needle. The patient was HIV+. Shinwell stayed by herself until she showed up negative. And he might’ve accepted her marriage proposal.

It happened right before he ran into Sherlock Holmes who is still alive and who lost his memory.

THE END!
