Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will struggle as the new year begins. Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) may hope that this could serve as a fresh start for Ben – a chance to move into a new chapter where losing Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) doesn’t hurt quite so much.
However, Ben will continue to drown in his crushing sadness. No matter how hard Ben tries, he just won’t be able to move on with his life. Days spoilers say Claire will continue to check in with Ben and will express her concern.
At some point, Ben will confess something he’s been wrestling with since Ciara was presumed dead. Ben will admit that the reason he can’t move on isn’t about mourning or longing for the past.
Deep down, Ben will just feel like Ciara must be out there somewhere. He won’t be able to shake the feeling that Ciara survived and needs him to come rescue her.
Claire might argue that it’s perfectly reasonable for Ben to cling to hope. Nevertheless, Claire may fear it’s wishful thinking. Hope can be a wonderful thing, but Claire might also worry Ben’s going to stay in this state of heartache forever. She may not be so sure Ben can ever prove his hunch.
Ben will feel crazy on some level, but he’ll just know in his heart that Ciara is alive. She has to be! To take this a step further, Ben will feel like he’d be a terrible husband if he didn’t look into this. The question is: How exactly will Ben dig for answers?
Ben tried the only thing he knew to do when he held Vincent Belman (Michael Teh) at gunpoint. It seems like Ben’s at a dead end, but he does have a couple options. One might be getting in touch with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and seeing if she has any new clues.
Then again, a clue might land in Ben’s lap another way. Maybe Ciara will succeed in sending Ben a message of some sort that puts him on the right track.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say fans will get a glimpse of the real Ciara soon! DOOL viewers have seen Ciara in visions, but the real deal will be back as we see her in captivity. Ben will vow to find his missing wife, so this will be the first step toward a long-awaited “Cin” reunion.
