The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, August 2 Recap – Kyle Goads Homeless Tara – Sally Begs Jack – Ashland’s Specialist

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, August 2, teases that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will goad homeless Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) resorts to begging Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will also reveal plans to see a new specialist, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to on Monday’s episode.

At the Abbott mansion, Tara will repeat back to Jack what he’s asking of her – to tell him something won’t come out to make regret letting her move in.

Tara will suggest she can’t predict the future and will bring up the fact that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is a troublemaker.

Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will arrive as Jack’s leaving, so she’ll notice he seems to have something serious on his mind.

Next, Lauren will discuss her collaboration with Tara and how she wants to center their marketing around her.

Tara will be surprised considering all the negative media coverage lately, but Lauren will think they can sell the story of Tara making a graceful comeback.

Lauren will also mention that her team of accountants has been going through all the numbers they were provided with.

Lauren note that it’s for the final stages of the shoe line acquisition, but it turns out there are some requested documents that haven’t been received.

Tara will suggest that’s odd and will promise to personally take care of it. She’ll hope this doesn’t delay their arrangement since she needs an immediate source of income.

Lauren will understand, but she’ll think she has to do her due diligence on her end, too. When Lauren exits, Tara will seem a bit nervous.

At Society, Sally will rant to Kyle about Phyllis. She’ll get that Kyle doesn’t trust her, but she’ll want one good reason that justifies believing Phyllis over her.

Once Kyle’s gone, Jack will show up and will agree to hear Sally out. Sally will note that Jack appeared at almost the exact time and place of the date they were supposed to have.

Sally will wonder if it’s too much to hope that Jack reconsidered and came to find her.

Sally will suggest that the Jack she knows is fair and considerate – not someone who would judge without all the facts.

Sally will make it clear that she did nothing wrong. She won’t think Jack should throw away something so special and rare for no good reason.

Jack will admit that he’s quite attracted to Sally, but that won’t be enough for him.

He’ll hope Phyllis is wrong, but the notion that she could be right will bother him.

Jack will feel like anytime he hears something horrible about Sally, he’ll have to wonder if it’s true.

Sally will guess that means Jack can’t have anyone with a sullied reputation in his life, so he’ll start to leave.

That’s when Sally will stop Jack and argue that the real problem isn’t the video Phyllis sent. It’s whether Sally cheated her way to the top at JCV.

Sally will insist that she didn’t and will remind Jack that Summer Newman (Hunter King) recommended her. She’ll think there’s proof since Lauren can back her up.

Jack just won’t think any of that changes who Sally is or anything he’s said tonight.

After Jack moves toward the door, Sally will follow him. She’ll practically be begging for some way to fix this and will assure Jack that they can take things slow until he feels safe.

Jack will admit that he saw the person Sally was before and convinced himself he could forget, but that was a mistake.

Back with Tara, she’ll talk to Kyle about her divorce wrapping up.

Tara will explain that Ashland is purging their shared homes by putting them up for sale and liquidating the contents.

Tara will insist she put a lot of love into those homes, but Kyle will think Tara had to have seen this coming.

Kyle will hint about Tara essentially being homeless outside of the situation at the Abbott mansion.

Kyle will get how that’d make Tara worried about her options. Tara will get agitated over what Kyle’s driving at, so he’ll think she seems defensive.

As Tara gets more and more upset, she’ll argue that it’s like Kyle’s trying to gauge whether to trust her.

Tara will warn Kyle to stop listening to Phyllis and will rant about her planting seeds that grow and grow.

“I can’t live this way and I won’t!” Tara will shout before she runs upstairs.

In Manhattan, Ashland will finish giving Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) a tour of his penthouse.

They’ll end up in the bedroom, where Victoria will admire a famous painting. Ashland will have to sit down when he gets a bit short of breath, but he’ll assure Victoria he’s fine.

Ashland will talk about how he always preferred the penthouse while Tara spent all her time at the beach house.

Ashland will see now that it made it much easier for Tara to have her affair with Kyle. Victoria won’t think there’s any point in second-guessing decisions of the past and will want to live in the moment.

Ashland will talk about being in awe of Victoria’s beauty and will praise her power. Ashland will feel like everything’s better with Victoria and will want to let go of his past completely other than that painting she admired.

Ashland will mention the divorce being final and fill Victoria in on an appointment he made with Dr. Ferguson, the leading small-cell lung carcinoma specialist.

Ashland will hope to discuss the latest promising treatments and trials.  Ashland will also want Victoria to come to the appointment with him, so she’ll promise to be there every step of the way.

At The Grand Phoenix, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be suspicious as Phyllis wraps up her phone call.

Phyllis will distract Nick with lovemaking, but he’ll eventually push for answers about what’s going on.

After Phyllis shares the story of everything that went down with Tara and Sally, Nick will think she needs proof.

Nick just won’t be as certain that Sally and Tara ran Summer out of town.

Nick will think Summer seemed happy in Milan, but Phyllis will counter that their daughter might’ve been putting on a brave face.

When Nick questions why Summer wouldn’t fight back, Phyllis will suggest that perhaps Tara and Sally made it impossible to do so.

Nick also won’t think it’s wise to go behind Summer’s back and confront her boss about any shadiness.

Nevertheless, Phyllis will vow to be careful. She’ll be adamant about filling in the blanks with help from Angelina Marchetti (Cristina Serafina) and Eric Forrester (John McCook).

Nick will eventually see that he’s not going to talk Phyllis out of this, so he’ll offer to go with her. Phyllis will want Nick to stay in town so he can be her eyes and ears in Genoa City.

When Sally returns to the hotel, she’ll see that Phyllis is going on a trip – but Phyllis won’t reveal where.

After Sally steps away, Phyllis will promise Nick she’s going to get the proof she needs.

Phyllis will want the Abbotts to be rid of the scammers and will plan to make sure Summer can come home.

Nearby, Sally will look uneasy over what Phyllis is up to now.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally’s takedown is just getting started, so stay tuned!
