The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers hint that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) could throw a wrench in Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) cover-up plot.
Will John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) adoptive mother suspect trouble and chase down the truth?
Finn stood firmly against Steffy’s egg donor and surrogacy idea, but Carter will no doubt remind Steffy that it’s not up to him.
Although Finn was entitled to weigh in as Steffy’s husband, this is her call to make.
Of course, Finn’s opinion doesn’t really matter anyway since a baby is coming regardless.
Finn isn’t on board with Steffy’s surrogacy plan, but he’d like it even less if he knew Steffy was already pregnant following one disastrous night with Carter.
That’s why Carter will kick his pressure up a notch during the week of September 28-October 2 and work to convince Steffy that their surrogacy scheme has to move forward ASAP.
Steffy will have plenty of reservations, but it looks like she’ll finally cave in and go through some phony surrogacy phases.
Carter and Steffy will need a medical professional to help them fake this, which could be a problem if that person works at the same hospital as Li and Finn.
Li was the one who gave Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) the bad news about her infertility struggles, so she’s already involved in this storyline.
B&B writers may have done that for a reason if Li’s going to stay involved as a snooper.
We could imagine Li witnessing a tense moment between Steffy and Carter.
Li might even overhear something suspicious and decide she’d better follow the trail for Finn’s sake.
Since Steffy and Carter will have to get some corrupt specialist to help them fake everything, Li might know the doctor who agrees to help.
It could be someone Li doesn’t trust and leave her feeling like something strange is going on.
Will Li ultimately discover that Finn’s getting duped?
If Li does find out Steffy got pregnant by Carter the old-fashioned way and that it happened far sooner, she’ll have to decide her next move.
Li could wrestle with whether to blow up Finn’s marriage and family or let Steffy and Carter carry out the rest of their plot.
