Kate Middleton’s Pregnancy Secrets Revealed – The Future Queen’s Health Plan

William & Kate Visit The Cambridge City Center

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has had to endure a pretty rough start to her pregnancy.  “Princess” Kate spent some time being treated at King Edward VII hospital for an acute form of morning sickness called hyperemesis gravidarum.  The illness is known to cause extreme morning sickness and dehydration.  During her stay a morning radio show in Australia played a prank by calling in to the hospital and pretending to be the Queen and was able to get information on how the Duchess was doing.  The nurse who transferred the call, Jacintha Saldanha would go on to commit suicide only a few days later due to her role in the prank.  Having a stressful first trimester is definitely an understatement in the Duchess’ case.

She is most definitely the future queen and relaxing should be a breeze.  So, how is the Duchess staying calm and relaxed?  A source close to Kate has disclosed some of her secrets to Now Magazine.  Her exercise regimen has purportedly changed from Yoga to Pilates.  The change is due to the fact that Pilates allows a person to focus on specific parts of their body as opposed to Yoga.

The Duchess has also managed to keep her blood pressure fairly low by walking with her dog; a cocker spaniel named Lupo.  The dog is said to have brought her great comfort at times when Prince William is not around.

Her last big pregnancy secret:  SLEEP!  What pregnant women won’t benefit from a full night’s rest?  Kate is said to be sleeping at least 8 to 10 hours a night.  I’m sure she sneaks in the occasional nap during the day as well.

Are there any pregnant readers out there?  Will you be trying out one of her secrets to a healthy pregnancy?  When do you expect the Duchess will start showing?  In the 8th or 9th month perhaps?  Do you think Prince William is also going along with her new regimen so she doesn’t “fly solo”?
