Kelly Clarkson has just given birth to a baby girl, but the delivery room was reportedly fraught with unexpected complications. Kelly and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, gave birth to their baby on Thursday. Kelly even tweeted, “Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!!”
However, her tweet definitely didn’t belie any of the tension behind the scenes. According to reports, Brandon’s ex-wife Melissa Ashworth White was one of the first people to visit Brandon and Kelly after the baby was born. Although Melissa claims that she was invited, it’s hard to believe that a hormonal and tired Kelly Clarkson would invite her husband’s ex-wife before she even left the hospital.
Sources claims that the drama in the delivery room reached fever pitch as Kelly and Melissa faced down over their man. Again, we can’t say for sure if this actually happened or not, but if it did, it wouldn’t be the first time a wife and an ex-wife faced off over their man.
