Miranda Lambert has moved on from Blake Shelton and is dating another country star. Lambert’s new man is Anderson East, a country music hopeful who apparently has a lot of talent. Can anyone blame Miranda for seeking love? Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been pursuing a remarkably obnoxious PDA tour recently, enough to turn any ex-wife’s stomach.
Lambert is dating Anderson East, a 27-year old rhythm & blues singing up-and-comer. One thing is for sure, Miranda Lambert didn’t land herself a superstar. Some are wondering if Miranda is really in love with her blues singing boyfriend or if Anderson is just a diversion from all the attention on Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.
Gwen and Blake humiliated Miranda by confirming their new relationship right before the Country Music Awards and then rubbed their romance in her face right before she was slated to debut her song Bathroom Sink to the world. The whole experience must have been a complete nightmare.
The attention Miranda has received from Anderson East over the past month has probably helped her deal with all the attention Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are getting. Up until now, Lambert enjoyed getting to know Anderson without anyone watching.
Now that everyone knows Miranda has a new man, the country singer might get less sympathy from those who cringe every time Gwen and Blake do something that only they think is cute.
No matter Miranda’s reason for dating Anderson East, a source at Us magazine revealed, “They are really enjoying each other’s company.” Miranda and Anderson have reportedly been dating for about a month. Lambert and her new man are serious enough that the magazine reports they will be spending New Year’s together.
Miranda Lambert hasn’t spilled the beans on how she met her new musician beau. The pair have probably rubbed shoulders since East, whose real name is Michael Cameron Anderson, lives in Nashville. Lambert relocated to the country music capitol after divorcing Blake Shelton over the summer.
While East isn’t a household name like Blake, he’s not a complete bum either. Anderson worked as a session musician and a sound engineer in Nashville. Earlier this year he upgraded his career and released an album titled Delilah.
Now Anderson and his new girlfriend are hoping his career will blow up. Don’t be too surprised if Miranda and Anderson end up on tour together. That seems to be the trend these days.
Update: Anderson East’s stepfather, Randall Ennis, has confirmed to In Touch that in fact his stepson and Miranda Lambert are dating!
