OJ Simpson Getting Fat and Doing Hard Time – Diabetic Alleged Murderer Faces Double Amputation?

OJ Simpson may not have been found not guilty of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her lover Ron Goldman – but the 67 year old former NFL star is still rotting away in a Nevada federal prison on different charges. In 2008 OJ Simpson was found guilty of kidnapping and armed robbery and sentenced to 9-33 years at Lovelock Correctional Center. Although technically his minimum sentence is up in a few years – a new report reveals that OJ may not even live to see the day he walks out of prison, and if he does live – he won’t be walking out.

According to a new report from GLOBE Magazine, OJ Simpson is in bad shape – and new reports reveal that one or both of his legs will be cut off while he is behind bars. The March 23rd edition of GLOBE Magazine reveals, “OJ’s damaged knees have him in agony and he is terrified his deadly diabetes will lead to the amputation of his legs.” Like several other former football pros, OJ Simpson underwent multiple surgeries to try and repair his knees from old football injuries. However, the surgeries actually did more bad than good and caused multiple infections and bone disease. That couples with diabetes is a recipe for disaster.

GLOBE Magazine explains that OJ now weighs in at a whopping 340 pounds and has to walk with a cane in prison. OJ’s former manager dished to the magazine that Simpson losing his legs is the least of his worries – and there is a good chance he could “leave prison in a box.” It looks like OJ isn’t receiving much sympathy behind bars and he blames his health issues on the “mediocre health care” that the prison supplies him with.
As more and more reports hit the internet of OJ’s deteriorating health and possible leg amputation – general consensus on social media is that his legs are a minor price to pay for getting away with murder. Do you feel bad for OJ? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
