Kim Kardashian, along with Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, have filed a lawsuit against Blac Chyna trying to stop her from changing her name to Angela Renee Kardashian. The sisters want to block Blac Chyna from changing her name to Angela Renee Kardashian. Chyna reportedly has plans to trademark the name too.
TMZ obtained the legal documents from the companies owned by Kim, Kourtney and Khloe. They want shut down Chyna’s use of the name Angela Renee Kardashian “for use while working in entertainment, and also on social media.”
The legal documents claim that if Blac Chyna is permitted to tack Kardashian onto her legal name it will destroy the Kardashian brand. The Kardashian sisters’ legal documents reveal that Kim, Kourtney and Khloe believe the Kardashians’ will “suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill.”
Haven’t Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner managed to do enough damage to the Kardashian reputation and good will without any intervention by Blac Chyna? A few of the major faux pas the Kardashian sisters have managed?
There’s Kim’s sex tape with Ray J that Kris Jenner allegedly sold to Vivid Entertainment. Let’s not forget Kim’s fake marriage to Kris Humphries that lasted all of 72 days before the reality star filed for divorce. And of course, there’s Kanye West, Kim’s third husband.
Not to make light of Kanye West’s recent mental health issues, Kanye West was a hot mess long before the music mogul married Kim Kardashian. West’s rant at the 2009 MTV Music Awards against Taylor Swift? And let’s not forget West’s rant at the 2016 MTV Music Awards when he announced he would run for president in 2020.
West wasn’t quite done with Taylor Swift. It may have appeared that the singers kissed and made up, but they didn’t. West released the song ‘Famous’ that had a nasty lyric dissing Taylor. West said the song wasn’t about Taylor, it was just a way of expressing his artistic talent through music.
Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy Scott Disik has been in and out of rehab so many times people have lost count. Disik’s reputation as a partier has been well documented on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians.’
Khloe Kardashian has caused her fair share of damage to the Kardashian brand. Khloe finds it difficult to censor what she says. Khloe uses ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ to lash out at anyone and everyone. Khloe’s favorite forum in which to trash friends and family is social media – her Instagram rants are legendary.
Then there’s the matter of Lamar Odom. If the former NBA players overdose at a Nevada brothel didn’t bring the Kardashian empire to a screeching halt, then why would Blac Chyna changing and trademarking the name Angela Renee Kardashian?
Chyna’s legal name is Angela Renee and when Rob and Chyna tie the knot the entertainer’s last name will legally be Kardashian. How can Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian stop Blac Chyna from using her legal name on social media and for business purpose?
