‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Offers To Shoot Nikki For Ian - Adam Blamed for Escape, Michael Fears Jail

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 4, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will shout that Ian (Ray Wise) shot him. He’ll add that Ian grabbed Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and make a break for it. Adam (Justin Hartley) will insist that Victor had better not die. They still have some issues they need to address.

The paramedics will take Victor to the hospital and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will seem concerned. Nick (Joshua Morrow) will believe Nikki is the one they should really be worried about. Meanwhile, Victor will tell Meredith (Alicia Coppola) that he lied on the stand to protect Adam.

Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Laralee Bell) will arrive to grill Victor about the shooting. Victor will rant about everything he does for his family. He’ll mention that he took a bullet for Nikki. Victor will urge Nick and Victoria to point the finger at Adam. He’ll blame his son for this whole ordeal.

At the cabin, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will confess that she loves Billy (Jason Thompson) and he’ll echo her sentiments. Billy will want a future with Phyllis, but she won’t be sure. She’ll make Billy leave while she sorts everything out.

Later, Billy will see Jack (Peter Bergman) at the athletic club. Phyllis’ name will come up and Jack will discuss his strained marriage.

Billy will make a remark about Phyllis getting drunk at the cabin. Jack will be curious how his brother knows that tidbit, but Billy will manage to brush it off. When Jack uses Billy’s phone to call Phyllis, she won’t pick up.

Phyllis will try to take the call, but Ian will spoil that plan. He’ll bring Nikki in and tie up both women. They’ll try to use some manipulation tactics to gain the upper hand.

Phyllis will hint that she could take Nikki out if Ian hands over his gun. Ian will chuckle over the fun he’s having. He’ll be pleased with the hostages he’s chosen. Y&R viewers know that Ian always manages to amuse himself during his evil schemes.

At the penthouse, Dylan (Steve Burton) will suggest that Adam aided Ian’s escape plot. Adam will deny it and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will back him up. A short time later, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will stop by to discuss the latest news in his case.

Adam and Chelsea will confess that they conned Ian, but they didn’t actually help him make his getaway. Michael will fear that this sham could land Adam behind bars. Stay tuned to see how Adam will handle this crisis.

Other Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Sharon (Sharon Case) will say she didn’t mean to hit Mariah (Camryn Grimes). She was trying to get rid of “her.” Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will ask who Sharon is talking about, but he’ll quickly turn his attention to helping Mariah.

Before Kevin can call 911, Mariah will awaken. While Sharon is getting some ice, Mariah will explain the incident. They’ll decide to deceive Sharon in an attempt to get her some help. Once Sharon returns, they’ll state that she needs to accompany Mariah to the hospital.

Kevin and Mariah will contact a doctor to treat Sharon. When they arrive, Sharon will flip out over being tricked. The doctor will insist that Sharon has to take her medications. Otherwise, they’ll have no choice but to sedate her.

When Dylan finds out Sharon is in the hospital, he’ll ask Mariah for updates. Mariah will fib that Sharon had a panic attack because of the drama at the courthouse. After Dylan rushes off to check on Sharon, Kevin will berate Mariah for lying.

Mariah will defend her actions. She’ll emphasize that Sharon thought she was striking Sage.

It’s clear that Mariah is caught in a tight spot. Y&R spoilers indicate that things will get even trickier soon. Stick with the CBS soap watch this storyline heat up.
