Meghan Markle is being mocked for her Prince Harry romance by her ‘Suits’ co-stars. In fact, new reports indicate that Meghan couldn’t even sit through a discussion panel about the hit legal drama without someone mentioning Prince Harry’s name or her wedding plans for that matter.
According to reports, Meghan attended the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas over the weekend where she participated in a script reading of the show’s original pilot. After the script reading, she and her co-stars answered fan questions during a special panel discussion about the show.
And while the discussion was supposed to focus on the upcoming season of ‘Suits,’ everyone kept asking Meghan Markle personal questions about her boyfriend. When one fan asked Meghan if she plans on marrying Harry soon, she smiled and said nothing.
Meghan’s co-star Rick Hoffman suggested that she should read her part of her script in a British accent. Even though the crowd cheered and even begged her to do it, she once again blushed and said nothing.
Clearly, the entire cast of ‘Suits’ is giving Meghan a hard time over high-profiled royal romance. They are making jokes at her expense and even mocking her in front of her fans.
For Meghan, this has to get old. Sooner or later she’s going to get frustrated with all of the Prince Harry and wedding questions, especially since she knows she can’t say much about it. And while she might be dishing a few details here and there about Harry to her ‘Suits’ co-stars, she knows that she can’t do it in public. That’s why she felt so embarrassed at the ATX Television Festival, especially since she was getting more attention for being Prince Harry’s girlfriend rather than her Suits’ character, Rachel Zane.
Of course, this will all change the moment Prince Harry and Meghan Markle get married. She won’t be participating in any discussion panels about her cable television show because she’ll be too busy doing engagements and public appearances as a member of the British royal family.
Her ‘Suits’ co-stars can mock her all they want, but once she moves into Kensington Palace full-time, she won’t be there to hear their petty jokes about her and Harry anymore. She’ll have more important things to worry about.
