The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) time in Genoa City is coming to a close. Greg Rikaart will be wrapping up his Y&R stint pretty soon, so we should start thinking about Kevin’s exit. We know that it’s going to be open-ended in case they want to bring Kevin back at some point. It seems Kevin will leave town for a fresh start elsewhere.
Of course, The Young and the Restless spoilers tease there should be some major drama before Kevin heads off. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is currently on a mission to find Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). If Chelsea succeeds, perhaps Chloe will be carted off to a psychiatric facility for treatment. She could share some heartfelt conversations with Kevin and her daughter before she goes.
According to a tweet, Gia Poeme was recently on set taping new Y&R scenes as Bella. Her latest appearance could be for Kevin’s departure this summer. Let’s say Chelsea hands Chloe over to the cops after a fierce faceoff. Chloe might be deemed mentally incompetent. Instead of facing trial, Chloe could simply be taken to a secure facility where she could get the proper care.
Since this facility would likely be out of state, it would set up the perfect exit for Kevin. He could move nearby with Bella so they could both visit Chloe regularly. It’s clear that Chloe cares about her daughter. She would definitely appreciate the opportunity to see her little girl. This would keep the whole family’s bond going strong. Kevin still has plenty of love left for Chloe as well.
If The Young and the Restless wanted to take a more shocking route, Kevin could join Chloe on the run with Bella. They could land in some exotic locale and build a new life together. However, that would make Chelsea’s current search kind of pointless.
Since Chelsea is on the hunt, there’s a good chance Chloe will be found eventually. You can bet that Chelsea will do whatever it takes to locate her former friend. Nick (Joshua Morrow) will encourage Chelsea to proceed with caution. There could be some danger ahead since Chloe has attempted murder more than once before.
