Big Brother 14 Week 9 Episode 27 ‘Veto Competition’ Recap 9/12/12

Big Brother 14 Week 9 Episode 27 'Veto Competition' Recap 9/12/12

Tonight is another new episode of Big Brother 14 on CBS and it looks like it is going to be a crazy one. Tonight we will get to see the Veto competition and find out if Jenn and Shane have the chance to get off the block.  After Ian nominated them last week he told them it is not the nomination that counts, it’s the PoV, so they have to play hard. We will see how hard they play tonight.  We will also be treated to a surprise eviction tonight.  If you missed the last episode (HoH completion), you can read our full and detailed recap here.

On last week’s show Ian won the HoH and Pandora’s box popped up again and he decided to use it.  Ian opened it because he thought he would get a message from his family but instead he got a message from Rachel Reilly from Big Brother 12 and 13, she was going to give him advice on how to win the game. Ian didn’t appreciate the advice, he felt more like he was on a bad date.  The rest of the house lucked out they started hearing their loved ones, their video messages were played in the living room.

On tonight’s show it is PoV night and the competition for it is called ‘Time Flies’ and it looks like it is going to be pretty cool.  Everyone participates in this week’s Veto competition because there are not many people left in the game.  Spoiler alert: If you’re one of those people who doesn’t like spoilers, stop reading now! We have some juicy spoilers for you about Big Brother 14 week 9.  Shane wins the PoV tonight and Shane of course decides to use the PoV on himself.  The smart thing for Ian to do would be to put Dan on the block, but Dan convinces Ian not to do it.  Ian’s replacement nominee is Danielle.  SO now we have Danielle and Jenn on the block for eviction.  We are in for another twist tonight, there will be a surprise eviction.

Big Brother airs tonight at 8:00pm with the PoV competition, we will be live blogging the show with all the up-to-the-minute details so make sure to come back to Celeb Dirty Laundry and watch the show with us. Can’t wait to see if there will be any more drama in the house, how about you?

Tonight’s episode: Julie Chen starts the show off by giving the houseguests a surprise, eviction night has come early to the Big Brother house.

Jenn, the only house guests that is not a part of the Quack Pack alliance should be going home tonight, but you never know, it could be the pawn, Shane.

After the nominations last week, Dan tells Jenn that he wants Shane out, not her. Jenn talks to Danielle who thinks that Shane is playing her, he’s not really into her and just wants her vote – Danielle vows to play the player.

Time for the Veto competition that is going to put the house guests internal clocks to the test when they have to build a puzzle before everyone else, but there is a ticking ticking time bomb that they have to pay attention to or all the pieces of their puzzle will drop and they have to start again.

Shane wins the POV and with it he wins a luxury gift. Shane has been in the house for 65 days, he gets to pick one person that gets to go with him for a once in a life time opportunity. The two gets dressed, head into a limo and leave the house. The two get to meet five girls, the fierce five US Olympic gymnastic champions. Shane and Danielle get to watch the girls put on a show and then head back to the BB house. Funny how just hours ago Danielle thought Shane was a player and now she thinks their relationship is real and he wants to sleep in her bed.

Dan gives Danielle a hug and tells her that he missed her when she went on the date; Dan is only thinking about his final two deal with her.

Time for the Veto meeting, Shane has won the POV and no surprise that he decides to use it on himself. Ian has to pick a replacement nominee, he picks Danielle to put up for eviction.

It’s time for the live eviction, it’s either Jenn or Danielle that is going home. Shane is fist to vote, he votes to evict Jenn. Time for Dan to vote, he votes to evict Jenn. It’s official, Jenn is evicted from the Big Brother house.

It’s time for the HOH competition, as outgoing HOH Ian is not allowed to participate. This competition based on a true or false question based on some photographs they were shown earlier in the day. It’s a three way tie with 4 points each, then a two way tie with 5 points between Ian and Danielle. Julie calls a tie breaker, it’s a number answer between the final two and the person that comes closest will win. Danielle has won HOH and a spot in the final three, who will she nominate for eviction? Stay tuned tomorrow night when another house guest is evicted.

The end!
