It looks like those rumors of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis‘ reconciliation might be a bit overstated! According to Now Magazine, the 49-year-old actor and his rumored girlfriend and Rum Diary co-star Amber Heard are still together and even looking at real estate together in Hawaii!
“He wants somewhere he and new love Amber can get away from all the scrutiny,” said a source to the magazine. “He’s really smitten.“
Previous reports indicated that Amber, 29, had “freaked out” over all of the media attention and didn’t want to be labeled a home-wrecker in the press, so she supposedly cooled off her relationship with Johnny. But perhaps this was a strategic move on her part to throw the tabloids off the scent, like when Angelina Jolie claimed “she didn’t need” Brad Pitt as her lover when it turns out she was with him the whole time!
