Eva Mendes’ baby bump speculations are sure to hit overdrive today with the emergence of new pictures making us all scrunch our brows and furrow our foreheads and rudely ask, “Well, is she?”.
Eva and Ryan Gosling have been crushing The Notebook fans’ hearts for just under a year now and I’ve already reported the 38-year-old actress has been itching to start a genetically-gifted family with the actor. She even went as far as to issue an ultimatum telling Ryan (who is 7 years younger, BTW) that if he didn’t want to hit the sack then he should hit the road. It looks like he unfortunately chose the former. Most men would I guess.
I’ve got two sets of photos for you: the ones with Eva clutching the bag across her chest were taken Wednesday and the ones with Eva wearing the adorable tangerine dress while walking Ryan’s dog (in heels, no less) were listed yesterday. What do you think? I’m not sure but I’m tending to believe the hype. Eva’s a curvy girl and she likes flowy, pretty dresses but the bag cinches the deal for me. Usually (and Kate Middleton is the ONLY exception) when celebs play the large bag across the tummy game you know they’re hiding something.
So the next logical question to ask is if we are happy about this. Obviously, you know I’m not and it’s NOT because I’m waiting for Rachel McAdams to come back. I’m not a Twihard. I understand all relationships aren’t meant to be and I can still watch The Notebook without feeling glum, unlike Cruel Intentions and Far and Away (those movies are dead to me now – DEAD!). I’m just not a huge fan of Eva Mendes. I don’t like her movies. I don’t like her acting and I don’t picture her for Ryan. Sorry. Does that mean I won’t like their spawn? Probably. Haha! Relax. I’m just kidding. No, not really though, I’m not a baby person. I’m sure it will be cute and everything though.
