Did Robert Pattinson cut that girl right out of his hair now that Twilight is good and over? Jury’s out but Rob did just cut off all of his trademark hair (OMG!) and he has hit up every hot spot in NYC this week alone and/or with his boys. So what’s up Rob?
According to Page Six, Rob has been showing off his new freeing hairstyle while enjoying the best restaurants in the city On Monday he ate at Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter’s newly opened Beatrice Inn. Then on Tuesday he ate at Carter’s Waverly Inn and on Thursday he dined at Cipriani Downtown. Looks like someone might be putting on some holiday pounds with all that eating out. At first I thought those all sounded like business dinners given how swanky they are and all but sources said Rob just hung out with his dudes and a mystery blond while at Cipriani. Harvey Weinstein was there and they did talk but they didn’t come together. That’s too bad. Rob could use Harvey’s attentions right about now. It’s not like his career is doing badly or anything, but Harvey is better to have on your side than not.
So what’s Rob doing? He’s obviously not working anymore (although I did hear he was filming a commercial) so why doesn’t he fly back to London to be with his family like the tabloids said he would. He was supposed to hang with them before vacation with Kristen for New Years. Is he waiting for Kristen to finish her On the Road promotions and taking her to London with him? That seems to make the most sense. I can’t peg where Kristen is at the moment but new sound bites are coming out from her everyday which means she must be working. We heard her say watching herself have sex on screen is awkward. Then we heard he say she’s excited for the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel. Kristen is only this open when she’s working, otherwise she doesn’t make a peep. So maybe she’s in NYC and Rob’s just eating and biding his time until she’s done. If she’s spending Christmas with his family than things must not be so bad between her and the Pattinson women after all…. Will we have a Robsten forever in 2013 or is Rob Pattinson alone in NYC a sign that the couple are in for another rough year?
