Despite break up rumors that have been swirling for months, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber seem to be sticking it out. Is it true love or good business? While the photo-ops the squeaky clean duo pose for are uber cute, the reality is they’re volatile and a couple on the verge of disaster that “almost break up regularly” according to Radar Online.
Lately Selena and Justin have been seen out together less and less although she made an impromptu appearance October 20th at Justin’s Minnesota concert. Selena was even seen offstage dancing to her boy toy’s new single “Beauty and the Beat” that he launched with an immature prank.
Is it the age difference that’s killing their romance or jealousy? Cheating rumors have plagued the pair and Selena is said to be threatened by Justin’s close relationship with tour mate Carly Rae Jepsen. Not only is she jealous of his opening act, a source says, “Selena can be so dramatic about Justin’s exes, who aren’t even in her league! They both engage in really petty arguments and it’s killing their relationship.”
But these cute kids are still holding their relationship together. On the Bieb’s part it seems to be true love – a source close to the duo says, “Justin’s heart is with Selena because she’s his first true love.” But this may be less of an affair of the heart for Selena and more that the relationship is good for her business affairs…
The same source close to Selena and the Biebs says, “Selena is pretty much just riding out the relationship because she knows he’s good for her image.” Selena’s management is pressuring the young Latin hottie to stand by her man because being with Justin opens doors for her – the source says, “Dating Justin is good for Selena’s brand.”
If she wants to break out of the Disney mold and move on – Justin could be her ticket to bigger and better things. The source added, “Everyone in Selena’s camp is aware of Justin’s star power and is urging her to make it work with him.”
Sounds like Justin is still head over heels for his first love and she’s looking at him like he’s a career stepping stone – money in the bank baby! The source says, “Let’s just say that if for some reason Justin’s star ever fell, Selena would drop him immediately.”
