19-year-old Amber Carrington started singing at a young age. She truly knows that she wants singing and performing to be her life long career. Her all time idol is Dolly Parton. Amber made it to the semifinals of THE VOICE. Sadly, her Voice dream has come to an end tonight and she was sent home tonight. Did you watch tonight’s show? We did and we recapped it here for you.
On last night’s show Amber performed two songs for the judges and America. One song was chose by Amber and the other by her coach, Adam Levine.
Amber Carrington dedicated her first song to her friends in Texas and she sang Katy Perry’s “Firework.” [VIDEO HERE] Judges Comments: Blake said, “At the beginning of it I was not sure because it was not a country song. But by the end the power of your voice was phenominal. You are just so good.” Shakira said, “Adam is going to have to add this site to the list of nightmare songs, but you did great.” Adam said, “When I reached out to Katie about this song she asked if I was nuts. You sang it well, it is difficult to sing. The cool thing is you can sing anything. “
Amber Carrington sang “Sad” by Maroon 5 [VIDEO HERE] for her second song. Judges Comments: Blake Shelton said, “I am always blown away by you, I cannot wait to buy one of your records. You are such an emotional singer.” Usher said, “Everyone back home is probably very proud of you. Congratulations I am blown away.” Adam Levine said, “Well, you sang my song better than I did. That was incredible!”
