America’s Got Talent RECAP 7/30/13: Season 8 "Live from Radio City, Week 2 Performances"

Tonight on NBC their hit reality talent show AMERICA’S GOT TALENT continues and the remaining contestants gear up for the second week of live performances from Radio City Music Hall. Did you watch last night’s episode? We did and we recapped it here for you.

On last week’s show the  first live results from the first 12 acts were revealed.  Last week, there were some really memorable performances; Anna Christine played the piano and sang “Please Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” by The Animals, the judges absolutely loved it – the Kristef brothers were awesome, they were hands down the best act of the night. Alexandria The Great, Izzy and Aralyn, Kevin Downey Jr., Special Head, Fresh Faces, Hype, Television and American Hitman were all sent home. Collins Key, Kristef Brothers, Branden James and Anna Christine all made it through.

On tonight’s show twelve more acts will perform and then tomorrow night they will find out their fate in the results show. One of those acts being country singer, Marty Brown who is no stranger to performing. Not only did Brown have a 3-album contract with MCA, he has also performed on the Grand Ole Opry, featured on CBS “48 Hours” and showcased in People and Entertainment Weekly magazines.
