A new season of Dancing With the Stars is now well underway and we are starting to get a hint of how some of the partnerships are working out, especially behind the scenes. Every season there are one or two couples that totally clash and rumor has it that Elizabeth Berkley and Val Chmerkovskiy are butting heads left and right already.
According to the Oct. 7th print edition of Star magazine Liz is a very strong willed woman and so she doesn’t appreciate just how cocky and flirty is. They are also both control freaks and so even though she has no clue what she’s doing, Liz is still naturally fighting for control. Val certainly didn’t get the two off to a great star either. Upon meeting Liz he told her that when thinking back to her old Saved By The Bell series her co-star, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen was more his cup of tea. No doubt that pissed Liz off and caused a rift right from the start.
Supposedly the rehearsals between these two are amounting to a big power struggle and it’s obvious to anyone that happens to be watching. If Liz is smart she’ll listen to Val because the tension between them can be morphed into something that looks really good onstage and I’m sure he knows exactly how to make that happen. Hate can easily read as sexual tension if the choreography is just right, but will Liz let Val pull them together as a team? Or is she going to instead insist that she knows best?
