Jada Pinkett Smith was spotted at the Make Equality Reality gala in Beverly Hills on Monday night, but it was her bare ring finger that had the media buzzing (RadarOnline). Jada and Will Smith have been married for more than fifteen years, but the fact that she attended the event alone and without her wedding ring is definitely curious. Sure, Will could have been working, but why would she take off her ring in that case?
This only confirms all the recent rumors that have been circulating about trouble in paradise, and how Will and Jada are on the verge of a divorce. I still don’t think they will end up getting a divorce or separating permanently, considering how much they both have at stake. They’ve built an entire business empire together, if you count their production company, their producing endeavors, their business endeavors, their careers, and their brand name. If they divorce, they’re putting a lot of that at risk, and Jada and Will both seem too practical to let a divorce get in the way of that – especially since they’ve already been together for so many years.
Regardless, they definitely seem to be weathering a tough spot. All these rumors don’t come out of nowhere – it’s obvious that someone from the Smith camp has been leaking details of Will’s and Jada’s marriage troubles. It could very well be down to infidelity and cheating, but I’m guessing that they’ve both also grown apart over the last few years. It seems like they barely spend time together, especially with Will’s insanely busy acting career. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jada stepped out without her ring as a message to her hubby, but she could also very easily be winding up the media, knowing that it will make headlines.
