After months of denials, not just denials, but extended detailed rants from Justin Bieber’s PR about how the young singer is most definitely not a drug user, they are stuck backpedaling this morning. That photo of Justin smoking a blunt with his crew that was worth dying for last week (a failed photo attempt cost pap, Chris Guerra his life) has now surfaced elsewhere. If Justin isn’t the brightest bulb in the strand then I have to absolutely believe that his handlers have warned him about the dangers of cell phone pics popping up. In other words, be careful who you party with and NO photos!
Clearly Justin ignored that advice (I wonder what else he ignores!)and the proof of his being a pothead is now damaging. So much so that Justin (or his manager) Tweeted a vague but kind of obvious reference to the whole situation saying,
“Everyday growing and learning. Trying to be better. U get knocked down. U get up. Back on tour tomorrow. Ready to see you all smile. Time to do what I’m supposed to be doing. Performing #BELIEVEtour. I see all of you. I hear all of you. I never want to let any of you down.”
That’s about as close to an admission as we’ll ever get from Justin. He’s never going to say, “Hey, I’m sorry for being a weed smoking douche bag that has banged everything in a skirt behind Selena’s back!” Never gonna happen so I guess Bieber fans will have to take what they can get!
Will these photos affect Justin’s career? Do any of those bajillion screaming, adoring girls care if he smokes a blunt here and there? I’m sure their parents will but will it really hurt him? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
Editor’s Note: It isn’t the weed smoking that’s the real issue – lots of people smoke and it can’t be worse for the individual or society than booze – but it’s the hypocrisy of Bieber and his team of propagandists that irks.
