Only recently, the superstar was caught smoking what appeared to be marijuana. TMZ ran with the story first, others quickly followed suit, and the world was never the same again. According to a source for the New York Post, “Justin feels betrayed by someone who sold these pictures for $25 000 who he thought was a friend.”
Also, the New York Post describes how guests at the Carlyle Hotel on the Upper East Side “recently complained to management about a ‘strong smell’ emanating from rooms they believed were booked for Bieber and his group on the ninth floor.” Fortunately, in Bieber’s defense, it wasn’t him who smoked a joint with his crew – it was another, as of yet anonymous star who lived on said floor. A source revealed, “It was complete mix-up. Justin wasn’t even on the floor in question, it was actually coming from another star’s room. It has been a running joke on his team ever since.”
After Bieber’s infamous TMZ joint scandal, hoaxes appeared on the internet showing fans self-mutilating out of disgust that their idol was smoking a joint. These rumours were, late yesterday, proven to be untrue. The star wrote on Twitter after his scandal broke, “Everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up . . . i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and thank u.”
