Kanye West was spotted attending Chrissy Teigen and John Legend‘s wedding in Italy, but he was without his paramour, Kim Kardashian. Do we smell trouble in [fake] paradise?
The only presence Kim had during the wedding was through Twitter, when she tweeted, “#NowPlaying John Legend “All of Me” My fave song off his new album! I love this song so much!”
That barely counts, considering that she didn’t wish either John or Chrissy or send them congratulations through Twitter – and we know how much Kim likes using Twitter. So the fact that she didn’t mention Kanye or the wedding at all means one of three things: either there’s something wrong or she’s somehow reducing her Internet usage/becoming less of a famewhore. Of course, she could have just wanted to avoid being seen in public, considering she still hasn’t dropped to her ideal weight – allegedly.
It is definitely odd that Kim has managed to stay off the public radar for so long, although her family members are picking up the slack in her absence. Smart money’s on Kim just waiting it out until she goes back to her pre-pregnancy body, but in addition to being about her image, maybe she just didn’t want to go to Italy. Someone has to take care of the baby, and maybe she wasn’t willing to leave North West for a wedding in Italy, especially with people she’s not particularly close to.
Obviously, Kanye has no compunctions in leaving Kim and the baby, and he’s been doing just that for the past few months. I don’t think there’s anything necessarily wrong with their relationship, but the fact that Kanye would rather attend a wedding than spend time with his family is telling.
