A few months ago Kim Kardashian believed that the only thing keeping her from marrying Kanye West was the fact that she was still technically Kris Humphrie’s wife. The former couple, who was infamously married for a whopping 72 days in 2011, had been locked in a court battle for 18 months until they finally reached an agreement a week ago. It should have been one of the happiest days of Kim’s life and instead it only made her more miserable.
When Kim and Kanye first hooked up this time last year, he was the perfect boyfriend. He positively dotted on her and the whole Kardashian family thought that Kim had finally found her happiness. When she got pregnant on purpose she envisioned Kanye as the doting daddy-to-be as she was a fashion trendsetter for pregnant women everywhere to follow. Then reality crashed in right about the time that Kanye high-tailed it out of the country. Kim has gained a ton of weight and still tries to dress sexy which just never works. She screams about being fat and yes, she looks like a bloated toad because she is fighting her body every step of the way here. As long as she’s pouring herself into spanx and leather, Kim will look fat. If she embraced the pregnancy and dressed as a classy-mom-to-be she might be that trendsetter.
A few days before Kim and Kris’ court date she bit the bullet according to the May 6th print edition of Star Magazine and called her ex. Surprisingly Kris answered and listened. Kim basically groveled and told him that she knew he wanted revenge and that he already had it. He wanted her to hurt and be miserable and she already is, the court battle was just a bonus. She shared how miserable her life is right now and that he already has won because he at least has his freedom and is in a better space than her. Kris does, in spite of everything, still have a soft spot for Kim and he agreed to put an end to the court mess.
