If you’ve watched five minutes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, or if you’ve caught a glimpse of Kris Jenner in action either in print or elsewhere then you can easily conclude that the power house momager clearly has a problem with booze. Celeb Dirty Laundry told you last week about her oldest kids wanting to stage an intervention because Kris has been throwing back bottles of wine like they’re water and by 5pm she is rarely sober let alone functional. It seems that Kris has always resorted to alcohol when her life is a mess – even as far back as her marriage to Robert Kardashian. His diaries are filled with details on their sham of a marriage and the only thing that Kris may have done more than screw around back then, is drink.
Ironically, proof of Kris’s drinking problem was on full display last summer as cameras rolled for her families reality show, but the press seems to have forgotten about it. The whole Kardashian clan took a trip to the Dominican Republic last August and while downing several glasses of wine, Kris decided to hop on a jet ski and take a high speed ride with her daughter, Kim Kardashian on back. Kim was said to be petrified and actually hopped off the water craft rather than risk injury. According to the April 22nd print edition of National Enquirer, addiction expert Dr. Damon Raskin believes that this incident alone is proof that Kris has a real problem. As a woman that cares so much about her image she would never have been this careless, unless booze is a real vice. He also thinks that if she had been arrested for DUI it may have set her on a better path, instead everyone looked the other way.
I’m thinking that perhaps Kris floods the media with stories about her kids in order to keep the heat off of herself. Let’s face it, if there are 3 new Kardashian related stories a week then it’s easy to forget what happened a few weeks before and I’m betting Kris bets on that!
