When you screw up, how you carry yourself after the fact determines whether or not people can forgive and let it go. The same seems to hold true for Hollywood. When Kristen Stewart was busted last July getting way too comfy with then-married director, Rupert Sanders, she immediately owned up to her bad behavior and apologized. In most cases that would tend to be the ticket towards forgiveness. Her apology seemed humble enough at the time. It ultimately didn’t matter because her dalliance cost Rupert and Liberty Ross and their children their family.
Even though she took all of the supposedly right steps to correct her behavior, according to the April 22nd print edition of Star Magazine, Hollywood has yet to really forgive Kristen. She is still the subject of eye rolls and snubs in social situations. Perhaps it’s because there is no sense of humility in anything that Kristen does. She also has in the past had no filter. Interviews with major media outlets usually feature one zinger comment that trumps anything else she may have to say. Kristen comes off as ungrateful, even bothered by her position of wealth and moderate success. She’s continually a misery princess and thankless for the life that Hollywood has provided her.
My bet is that it’s her lack of humility that causes people to not want to deal with her. Instead even almost a year later she is better known for being a trashy home wrecker than she is for the final Twilight flick that dropped last November.
Robert Pattinson may have accepted Kristen’s apology and appears to have taken her back but the rest of the business that she works in isn’t being so kind and understanding.
