Since the Pretty Little Liars summer finale, this may have very easily been the most excruciating PLL hiatus yet. Now that we know Alison DiLaurentis is indeed alive, viewers have a long list of questions, and we want answers! Pretty Little Liars will return to ABC Family on Tuesday, January 7th with Episode 4.14 “Who’s In The Box.” Here’s what fans can expect to see in the Pretty Little Liars Season 4B Premiere.

“Armed with the knowledge that Alison is alive, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have more questions now than ever before in an all-new episode of “Pretty Little Liars,” entitled “Who’s In The Box?,” airing Tuesday, January 7 (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT). Trying to put the pieces together Hanna comes up with the idea that if they find out who is really buried in Ali’s grave it may lead to much needed answers. But as the girls search, Emily has trouble dealing with how she feels about Alison being alive.
Meanwhile, Caleb returns to Rosewood, and Ezra has clandestine meetings with Mona and Aria.”
It looks like “Who’s In The Box” will be picking up right where we left off in October, after we learned that Alison DiLaurentis is very much alive in “Grave New World.” Seeing as how the girls have spent the last three years thinking their best friend was dead, we are surely in for a heavy dose of drama in the Season 4B premiere.
Opening up Ali’s grave seems like the logical thing to do. After all, if she is alive, then who is dead? The girls have already been accused of stealing Ali’s body once though, stealing it again may not be the smartest move.
Paily shippers may have a hard time watching Season 4B. After all, Alison is Emily’s first love. There is no doubt that Alison being alive will drive a wedge between Paige and Emily. It took Emily a long time to move on after Alison’s disappearance, Alison returning will open up a whole new can of worms.
The only thing scarier than Ezra or Mona, is the thought of Ezra and Mona possibly working together. If Ezra really is “Head A,” then wouldn’t that technically make him Mona’s boss? Or, are they meeting up secretly because Mona is an evil genius and has already figured out that Ezra is “Head A” and is threatening to expose him to Aria and her friends?
Unfortunately, we have to wait until January 7th to find out how Alison’s return effects the liars, and why she has been in hiding for three years.
