LIVE RECAP HERE!!

Jane is having some insomnia. He won’t explain to Lisbon about anything being wrong. Although he does manage to catch some sleep at the office. He probably still would have kept sleeping if Lisbon hadn’t awaken him up for a homicide. The murderer is the one with personal history with Jane.

The newest victim is a Jane Doe. The woman is a mother and the child is gone. At first Lisbon doesn’t think it could be Red John but Jane is quick to prove it is. A phone number left at the scene points to child protective custody. It’s the one Jane experienced when he was younger. Is it all connected? Jane doesn’t believe so.

Before Red John had popped back up, Jane was closely to figuring out who he was. He’s currently down to seven suspects however he doesn’t share any of the names with his partner. In the middle of their investigation there seems to be more clues that are connecting with Jane’s past. The victim’s ex-husband just happen to live where Jane used to vacation.

The ex-husband’s family, whom Jane also happen to know personal, throw up smoke screens. Yet the family is sure to tell “Rodney” that his wife is dead and his daughter is missing. He may just show up at the wife’s.

Cho and Rigsby are questioning any possible witnesses until they get the call about the ex-husband.  They spot him pull into the motel. He does get brought in for questioning only after he assaulted a cop.  Rodney isn’t talking but Jane and Lisbon can figure out by his silence that he’s possibly protecting another family member.

When they go checking into the victim’s family, Jane realizes that he had history with her too. Lisbon is still trying to claim its all coincidence but Jane can no longer buy that. He goes in alone to interrogate Rodney’s family. It’s seems the victim, Eileen, and Rodney were Romeo and Juliette. Eileen’s uncle is the one everyone suspects of killing her. So is he Red John?

The uncle was Jane family friend once upon time. Until there was falling out. He’s a psychic. He tries to analyze Lisbon and comes up with her supposedly in love with Jane and lying in bed thinking about him. His diversion tricks don’t work with Jane.

The uncle isn’t too broken up about his niece but he does want his great-niece. He does one piece of wisdom he wishes to share. He believes that the real Red John must be an actual psychic and that’s why he’s always a step before Jane.

Cho and Rigsby bring in a witness. The witness tried to flee but they were able to capture her. Nevertheless the witness doesn’t have anything new. She fled because the murder had scared her.

Jane and Lisbon concoct a way to drive out the culprit. They set a trap for both the ex-husband and the uncle. Whoever doesn’t show; is the culprit. Rodney shows up but so does the uncle. Neither of them killed Eileen.  Yet the game isn’t finished. The social worker that first pointed a finger at Rodney is now a likely culprit.
The Social Worker is the one who did it. She’s not Red John but she is his accomplice. If she were to get caught she had to give Jane an envelope. She later kills herself in the back of a squad car.

The envelope held a video. Red John knew Jane was close to pinpointing him.  That’s why he killed someone close to Jane. Red John is going to start killing again. It’s now between him and Jane.

What will happen next season? Will they finally get Red John?
