Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are split up and their engagement is off – this breakup was announced in a roundabout fashion in People. Amber Heard’s relationship with Johnny Depp always had a ticking time clock on it, despite their engagement and the Johnny’s excessive displays of love. However, I think it’s becoming more and more obvious that Amber has started to realize that Johnny is a complete goober, and as such, a Johnny Depp and Amber Heard split is fast coming. I mean, who actually thought she started dating him because she was in ‘love’ with him? She homewrecked his marriage to Vanessa Paradis, and she managed to become a household name [at least in the tabloids] after becoming Mrs. Johnny Depp – well, without the actual marriage.
Lainey Gossip has an excellent analysis on the whole situation, but People Magazine confirmed with a report yesterday, stating that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are ‘cooling off’. In other words, Johnny Depp’s reps don’t mind all of you knowing that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are breaking up.
Apparently, Johnny Depp is still ‘crazy’ about Amber Heard, but there is ‘turmoil’ in their relationship. No, you don’t say. I guess Johnny’s drinking, partying, and general tomfoolery has finally gotten on Amber’s nerves. There’s only so much she’s going to put up with, especially now that she doesn’t even need him for her career. Three years ago, Johnny Depp was on top of the world, riding high from Alice in Wonderland’s success and Pirates of the Caribbean’s endless cash flow. And now, he’s become a national joke, messing up televised speeches and being that crazy drunk person in public. Who wants to be married or engaged to THAT? Not Amber Heard, that’s for sure.
Plus, Amber just came off filming Magic Mike 2 with Channing Tatum, and I’m sure she’s now set her sights on Channing Tatum 2.0. If she finds him in Hollywood, then Johnny Depp is toast. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Amber actually did try to hit on Channing Tatum, only to be rebuffed because Channing isn’t one to cheat on his wife. But she homewrecked one marriage – why can’t she homewreck another?
