Brooke Burke Charvet crashed her expensive Maserati into a chain link fence earlier this morning while driving through Calabasas, California. The star, who was recently fired from her Dancing with the Stars co-hosting gig, blamed the accident on a faulty steering wheel, claiming that that’s what caused her to lose control. And based on the sobriety test she passed, authorities are inclined to believe that she’s telling the truth . . . or, at the very least, able to confirm that alcohol wasn’t a factor in this equation that led to a crash.
Her car incurred relatively little damage and Brooke wasn’t injured. This accident probably was a result of a faulty steering wheel (which is kind of a weird thing to hear about, but whatevs) as she claims, or it very well could be that the stress/worry she incurred after being nixed from the popular dancing show is finally catching up to her. We’ve already seen instances of her adopting a bad girl image, perhaps in an effort to rebel and attract new opportunities.
