Ava is being harassed by a literal talking walking big bad wolf. He tells her that he’s her friend and she says he’s not really there. He grabs her and tells her he knows it’s hard to believe in him but says he’s there because she wants him to be. He offers her a drink and she drinks down what he gives her and then the glass falls and shatters. She cuts her foot and starts running.

She goes to the garage and gets in the car. She drives away in a panic as her husband tries to get her to stop. The wolf is in the car and tells her to calm down. She bashes through her fates and runs someone down before crashing into a wall. She’s knocked out for a moment but sees the wolf staring in through the window when she comes to.

Nick drinks coffee when Trubel comes in – she’s in a mood and says she understands if he doesn’t want her around anymore since she’s the only Grimm around now. She says her staying puts he and Juliette in danger. He tells her not to leave but then there’s a pounding at the door. He goes to answer – it’s Bud. He tells Nick he’s sorry to hear the at he lost his powers then asks for Trubel.

She comes in and he introduces himself to her. He says he almost ran into her when she broke up the wedding. He says they are all glad to hear she’s a friend of Nick’s. She and Nick ask what he needs. He says he needs help since Nick can’t any more. He tells her he has a Wesen problem. He says a Wesen kid is bullying his kid at school and hopes Trubel might talk to the bully.

Nick says he needs to get to work any way and goes. Nick leaves and Bud says he lied it’s a big problem. He got drunk and told Frank and some others when he was drunk that Nick lost his powers and word got round to Shaw – a bad news guy who has a beef with Nick. He says Shaw told everyone he was going to teach Nick a lesson. She asks where she can find Shaw. He says he can take her to Joe who may be able to tell them. Juliette eavesdrops on all this.

Nick and Hank show up to a crime scene and Hank says sooner or later Wu is going to figure out what Trubel is. Nick asks what he can tell him and says he doesn’t want to tell him he lost his Grimm powers when he slept with Adalind. They are at the crime scene where Ava hit the pedestrian Jason early that morning. Wu says Ava’s husband was at home and he called 911 when she drove away.

Wu says he could only get the word wolf out of Ava and says it talked to her but he didn’t find out if it was two legged or four. He says he believes anything these days. Hank tells him to secure the house and he agrees. Adalind is looking for her baby and sees herself and a guy’s head covered in rats. She screams.

Trubel goes with Bud to see Joe. She grabs Joe and he’s shocked that Bud brought a Grimm. He says he was telling another buddy when Shaw overheard him. She asks where they can find Shaw. Hank and Nick show up to Ava’s hotel room. Gabriel says they sedated his wife after she went into shock when she found out she killed someone. They ask about the wolf and he says Ava had psychotic episodes.

He says she takes heavy medication and they ask to look over their house. He asks if they need him to go along and they do. He walks them through what happened. He was upstairs asleep when he heard the glass break. They see blood and he says he thinks his wife stepped in it. He says he heard the car and ran out after her.

Gabriel says his wife said she saw the wolf before. She says it looks like a man with a wolf’s head that talks to her and says he wants to help her. He says she’s been seeing it for six months since they moved here. He says she was born there and they just moved back. They met in Brazil. He says her illness came on rapidly when they moved there.

He says Ava inherited the house and it was the one she grew up in. He says the staff quit because of Ava’s illness. He says he’s an MD and tried to take care of her as best he could. Hank says it may be a blutbad. Nick says he wishes he could see it to know for sure. They go to see Ava’s doctor to see what she thinks.

Trubel, Joe and Bud wait outside of Shaw’s. The guy comes out and Trubel walks over to him. Joe is freaking out. Trubel tells Shaw she’s a friend of Nick’s and says she heard he was going to try and teach Nick a lesson. Bud is there and starts trash talking. Shaw calls Bud a Grimm lover and says he’s going to teach him a lesson once he’s done with this bitch.

Trubel kicks Shaw’s butt and he realizes she’s a Grimm and begs her not to kill him. Bud tries to broker peace and Shaw promises never to bother Nick again. Shaw promises he won’t bother anybody. She cuts him a little and says it better never happen again with he or his friends. Bud tells Trubel she was amazing and says she should have cut off his head.

The shrink talks to Hank and Nick about Ava’s delusions. She says she thinks Ava really thinks the wolf is real. The doc says she’ll testify that Ava is incompetent if they charge her. She shows them sketches of the wolf that Ava drew. She says Ava should be hospitalized not jailed. They are very interested in the sketches.

Josh comes home with his dad Rolek’s urn to find his place has been trashed. He looks around at the wreckage then two guys come at him. He runs out of the house to get away from the Wesen thugs. Monroe looks at the sketches and ask who drew them. He says they are not blutbad. Rosalee looks at them too. He says it’s a Luison from South America. They wonder if her husband is the Luison and is driving her crazy.

Monroe offers to help. Hank gets a call from Ava’s doctor and says she’s awake. They leave. Ava asks if they’re going to arrest her. She says she doesn’t even remember hitting the guy. She says she had an episode and the wolf was there in the house. She says she tried to get away from him but he made her drink and then she ran outside but he was already there in the car with her and she had to get away.

She says he’s everywhere and she can’t get away from him. She says she’s losing her mind and knows it. Nick asks what the wolf says and she says he pretends to be kind. She says the wolf is real to her and she thinks he’s trying to kill her. Gabriel says he won’t let that happen. Dr. Burns asks them to leave. Sean gets an update on the case and they tell him Gabriel looks clean.

Hank says Ava is the sole inheritor of the business and is worth about $50 million. He says Gabriel may be working with someone and they have to figure out if he’s a Luison. Sean asks if they will use Trubel and says he thinks she’s a Grimm. Nick says he doesn’t want to involve her too much. He says he’s using Monroe too much.

Sean says he has to deal with Wu because he doesn’t want him taking Trubel down. Nick and Hank walk out and Josh calls Nick. He tells him he was at Rolek’s house and he was chased out. He says they tore apart his dad’s house and asks what to do. He asks if this is because his dad was a Grimm or if they’re looking for a key. He says he’s normal and needs help.

Nick tells him not to go back to his house and to not call the police. He says to get out of there now. Nick tries to get him to talk, but the guy is off and running. Adalind is on the floor and is told to get to the door on the other side so she can be free. The guy tells her he’s the key and giggles. He’s gone and there is a giant key on the floor. She picks it up and unlocks the door.

She goes inside and the room looks all creepy. A giant bassinet rocks itself and she sees the door on the other side she’s supposed to go to but then the baby says – mama and she calls out for Diana. She picks the baby up and rocks her and says her name. She looks back down and sees she’s holding a squealing piglet. She drops it on the floor and screams. She runs for the door but the handle comes off. She scrams and then falls through the floor.

Monroe asks how he can help. They tell him to stand outside and sniff but Monroe says there are too many scents. Rosalee recommends Monroe goes to the house to sniff around instead. They decide on that plan. Monroe goes to the house and Nick says he’s good to go. He goes sniffing around, literally, and then heads inside. He says – oh yeah. It’s Luison in the air.

He follows the stairs up into the garage and sees some men’s shoes. He looks up into a loft area and sees identical suits hanging. He hears tires outside and goes to look out the window. He calls Nick and says Gabriel is home but Nick says he’s in court and he can see him. Monroe says he’s looking at him too. The door opens downstairs and Monroe says he has to go.

The guy sniffs the air and then looks upstairs. He heads up with his dry cleaning and hangs it up then sniffs some more. He sees the open window and Monroe drops to the ground from where he was dangling. He hides and then once the guy closes the window, he runs away. Hank and Nick head to Monroe’s later. They decide there must be two Gabriels – maybe a twin.

Hank says there were no siblings listed in Gabriel’s file. They wonder how they can explain this to Ava. They agree they need to tell Ava that they were using masks. They have to get masks to show her that look like the wolf to keep her form losing her mind. Gabriel reassures his wife that the police checked the house and that she’s safe. He gives her some medication and she takes it, trusting him.

He tucks her into bed. Monroe shows up and confronts Gabriel’s twin. Hank grabs the guy and knocks him out. Gabriel calls out for Julio, his brother. They leave Julio and hide. Gabriel comes out and calls for Matheus – a third one comes out. There are three of them! The cops come out with guns drawn and Monroe says it’s a whole litter. Hank says he hopes that’s all of them.

Ava wakes and calls out for Gabriel. There’s another Luison in the house with her. She goes downstairs calling for her hubby. The Luison follows and speaks to her. He hears a door close and goes to see. There’s a mask on the counter and Nick is there saying it’s a close enough match. The guy goes to wolf out and then plays dumb. Monroe says they have his brothers and he’s violated Wesen council rules.

The guy says he can’t prove anything and Nick says they can. They arrest all four of them and tell Ava they’ve been tormenting her for six months. She says they’re monsters. Josh calls Nick from a bus. He says he doesn’t know what to do or where to go. Nick admits it could be about the key, but Nick has it, not Josh. He tells Josh to find someplace safe and stay there.

Adalind falls to the ground in a locked cell where there are rats scurrying about. She screams no, no. The door opens and someone comes in. Viktor is there and asks if she’s had enough. She says she’ll do anything if he’ll just make it stop. He says he wants what she wants – their baby. Monroe tells Nick the spell of a Hexienbeast puts a damper on thing and Nick says being a Grimm does too.

He tells Monroe he doesn’t want Juliette to have to live in fear all the time. He says the thought of starting over somewhere else is very appealing. Monroe says to do it if that’s what he really wants. Nick says he likes being a Grimm. Monroe asks if he really misses it and he says he does and is angry it was taken away from him. He says he wants it back.

Rosalee comes in with food and Hank and Juliette are there too. Nick toasts to Monroe and Rosalee and they hear a noise outside. They got out and see a cross-like thing is burning on their lawn. It’s called a Wolfsangel and Rosalee says its because they got married. Juliette tells Nick she’s ready for him to be a Grimm again.

THE END!
