Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin already don’t make a lick of sense, and now they want to start having babies? OK! Magazine cites a ‘source’ close to the couple claiming that they’re already talking about having children and starting a family. Can you imagine Jennifer Lawrence pregnant with Chris Martin’s baby? No, well neither can Gwyneth Paltrow! Yeah, the press will have a field day with that one. For one thing, Chris Martin isn’t even officially divorced from Gwyneth Paltrow yet, nor has he stopped spending time with her. For another, Jennifer Lawrence can practically pass off as Chris Martin’s daughter, which makes their relationship icky enough without throwing kids into the mix.
To be fair, Jennifer does seem like the type of person to get into serious relationships very quickly. She and Nicholas Hoult dated for almost four years, and she was hinting at starting a family and having children with him too. We’d been assuming that Jennifer and Chris were just a casual fling from the get go, but after all the US Weekly and People reports on how much Chris Martin loooves Jennifer Lawrence, we’re starting to think otherwise. Sure, some part of the media blitz is clearly due to Chris’ team trying to fix his public image, but there’s no denying that Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin are getting serious. And if JLaw and Chris are getting serious, that also means that babies are not off the table. And if that’s the case? Well, Gwyneth Paltrow’s gonna have a coronary.
Jennifer’s career is still red-hot right now, and there’s no way she’s going to marry and have children with Chris when he’s still in a state of flux with Goopy Paltrow. And while I would peg her as being more intelligent than this, she’s still dating Chris Martin – and I never, ever thought that relationship would ever happen. So basically, all I’m saying is don’t be shocked if Jennifer Lawrence suddenly starts toting around a baby bump come nine months.
