We’ve already covered Mick Jagger moving on to other women just months after L’Wren Scott‘s suicide. I can’t blame L’Wren’s family for hating Mick’s guts, especially since he’s not even making an attempt to hide his new romances from them. What’s worse is that Mick’s new girlfriend, ballerina Melanie Hamrick, is 27 years old! That makes the age difference between them about 43 years…..
We wouldn’t judge this romance if it wasn’t for the rumors that claimed Mick was hooking up with younger women even when L’Wren was alive. In fact, some sources even allege that Mick’s cheating and infidelity was what led L’Wren to committing suicide. And whether or not he held any responsibility in L’Wren’s downward spiral, shouldn’t he be at home grieving, not out hooking up with 20-something models in Europe?
A recently released report also states that Melanie has gotten into trouble with her superiors at the American Ballet Theatre because she called in ‘sick’ to go visit Mick in Zurich earlier last week. Unfortunately, she should have been more careful about being called out on that lie, since pictures of her and Mick canoodling on a balcony in Zurich quickly went viral. The whole world, including her bosses, knew that Mick was dating a 27-year old famewhore ballerina. A source from the dance world [probably Melanie’s bosses] even told Page Six, “Calling in sick is a real no-no. It’s unprofessional. This is not going to help her career.”
Well, if she does get fired, she can always become Mick’s groupie full-time. Then again, look at how L’Wren turned out, and she had her own career and business. Of course, if Melanie’s just looking for a quick boost to her fame, then she’s following the right rule book. It may not help her professional career as a dancer, but her career as a famewhore is well on its way to success.
