Kate Middleton’s first real major baby bump publicity tour is coming up, with her two-day visit to NYC planned for next month. I say this is her first ‘real’ post-baby bump publicity tour, because all of her previous appearances this past month barely revealed a baby bump, much less signs that pregnant Princess Kate Middleton was almost through to her second trimester of pregnancy. Of course, Kate did lose a lot of weight due to her Hyperemesis Gravidarum [acute morning sickness], and as such, there wasn’t much of a baby bump to speak of.
However, palace sources tell us that Kate’s bump is growing every day, and it’s gotten to the point that all of her fashion has now been forced to take the bump into consideration. Considering how historically vain Kate Middleton has been about her pregnancy weight and baby bump, I imagine that she’ll try her very best to cover it up [once again] with coats and peplums like she did when she was pregnant with Prince George. Of course, the Princess also utilized the unavoidable tactic of just not coming out of her house at all, which also worked fairly well.
This time, she can’t play hide and seek with the media, since she and Prince William have their NYC trip scheduled smack dab in the middle of her second trimester. That means that Kate’s going to be showing that baby bump, whether she wants to or not. The main fashion question now is – will she finally let loose and show off the bump? Or continue to pretend that she isn’t pregnant by using fashion tricks to cover up the bump?

Update: Kate Middleton wore a stunning red dress keeping her baby bump well under control while she visited the children today (Nov. 25) at the East Anglia Children’s Hospices charity appeal held at the Norfolk Showground in Norwich. The Duchess of Cambridge is a royal patron of the charity. It’s great to see Kate is feeling well and participating in the royal family’s duties. Kate wore her hair up in a ponytail and looked better than ever. What was she wearing under that dress to contain her growing baby bump? Enjoy the pics below.
