The Pretty Little Liars cast and crew are pretty tight-lipped when it comes to PLL spoilers, however Tammin Sursok (Jenna Marshall) dropped two major spoilers during her interview with Australian site The Daily Edition. Sursok revealed that not only is “A” still very much alive, but someone on Pretty Little Liars has a twin sister!
Sursok told The Daily Edition, “”There’s a lot of bad things that happen. We find out who ‘A’ is, and then it’s not really ‘A’ and then someone has a twin sister — I can’t give too much away.” Apparently her version of “giving too much away” and our version of “giving too much away” are two totally different things.
Any PLL fan who has read the series of books that the hit ABC Family is based on will tell you that Alison DiLaurentis’s twin Courtney in the books is a huge factor in the story. It’s what keeps the entire series moving, the fact that there are not one, but two Ali’s. So, it doesn’t exactly come as a shock that there will be a twin introduced on the television series during Season 5.
But, which character is the one with the twin sister? TPTB at Pretty Little Liars have stressed over and over that they are taking a different route than the books, and Alison will not have a twin sister, so who will? Well, our money is on Jason DiLaurentis. It’s safe to assume that the twin in question is the same person that hit Alison over the head with a rock, and Mrs. DiLaurentis covered for her and buried Ali’s body. Why would Mrs. DiLaurentis cover up her own daughter’s murder? The only reasonable explanation we can think of, is that the person that murdered her is also her child.
Also, if the twin is Jason DiLaurentis’s sister, that explains what secret the Hastings family is keeping. Jason is actually Peter Hastings’ son, and that would mean that his potential twin sister that has been on a killing spree is Peter Hasting’s daughter. Perhaps Melissa found out about the twin sister and that is the secret her Dad is forcing her to keep, and the reason he has forbidden Spencer from being in contact with the DiLaurentis family.
