Is Alex Rodriguez dating a transgender woman? Blind Gossip is reporting that an A-list baseball player [cough, Alex Rodriguez, cough] met a mysterious Dominican girl during spring training, with their source adding that this mystery lady might actually be a transgender woman.
“This VERY famous athlete brought along some surprising company while training this spring. She has many of the same physical characteristics of his past girlfriends (including a couple of very famous actresses): tall, blonde, pretty, and very fit. Oh, and there’s just one more extra thing that she has over all the other women who chase him: She has a penis.”
BG ever refers to Alex Rodriguez by name, but I think everybody and their mother know that they’re talking about him, right? And knowing Alex Rodriguez’s dating history, would this be very surprising? Celebrities have dated transgender people in the past, but there still seems to be a ridiculous taboo about the subject in today’s media. For one thing, there’s the whole Bruce Jenner situation, which hasn’t done a very good job of articulating media sensitivity towards Bruce’s transgender sex change. And Alex Rodriguez being who he is, would the public be accepting of him dating a transgender woman?
It is possible that there’s truth to the story, although Alex certainly has come a long way from Cameron Diaz…
