Anna Duggar accepts that Josh Duggar cheated. The mother of four plans to reunite after Josh’s release from rehab. Anna has revealed that the couple’s marriage is stronger than ever. Divorcing Josh is not an option according to Anna. The devout Christian mom spoke to fans via the TLC program “Jill & Jessa: Counting On” Sunday, December 20. Anna admitted that Josh was very honest during their courtship about the investigation into allegations Duggar molested minor girls when he was a teenager.
Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar apparently wanted Anna to know everything about Josh before she agreed to marry their son. So, Anna knew about the molestation of minors’ investigation and married Josh anyway?
Nearly seven years into the young Duggar marriage allegations that Josh had cheated with several women, including a porn star, came out. Those allegations were followed by revelations of secret accounts with Ashley Madison – a hook-up website for cheaters. Josh Duggar also had cultivated an affinity for pornography. Anna Duggar did not believe any of it, not one word – Anna admits she was in complete denial.
Then the whole truth was exposed. As revealed on “Jill & Jessa: Counting On,” Mrs. Duggar was “really hurt that someone would think that about my husband” – the cheating, secret accounts, porn addiction. But it’s all true and poor Anna thought they had a strong marriage.
Anna believes that Josh is deserving of a second chance. There will be no Duggar divorce. Anna explained for the cameras that when the couple married she “vowed to God first then to Joshua, ‘For better or for worst, ‘til death do we part.’”
Does Anna Duggar think Josh Duggar has changed completely during his time at Reformers Unanimous? Does the long-suffering wife truly believe Josh will never cheat or look at pornography again? The first signal that Anna should run as fast as possible away from Josh was the revelation that Duggar molested minor girls.
